Advancing cardiovascular science.

Clinical research is how today's unanswered questions become tomorrow's standard of care.

Advanced Heart Failure

Support is not always permanent. Some hearts come back, and the work asks which ones, and why.

Peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, and the questions that keep coming.

Every one of them starts as a question from clinic, and the record keeps growing because the questions do.

Every paper starts as a question I could not answer at the bedside.

  1. Which failing hearts recover on mechanical support

Support is not always permanent. Some hearts come back, and the work asks which ones, and why.

  2. Who the transplant list keeps waiting, and why

Allocation is a policy question as much as a clinical one. The papers look at who waits, and what could change it.

  3. Finding cardiac amyloidosis before it is late

A disease mistaken for normal aging. The research is about catching it while treatment still changes the outcome.

  4. Getting proven therapy to patients earlier

The therapy already exists. The gap is reaching patients in time, and that gap is worth studying.
